We have represented numerous Fortune 500 companies on acquisitions that typically represent expansions into new end-markets, new service offerings or new geographies. We work cooperatively with your finance and/or corporate development teams to identify the targets that best match with your strategy. Once approved, we will then initiate dialogue with the key decision-makers at those targets, and ultimately assist in the execution of strategically critical acquisitions. Examples of our track record are provided by UPS acquiring Overnite, Norbert Dentressangle acquiring the Jacobson Companies, and Ryder acquiring Total Logistic Control.

We have successfully sold a broad array of prominent logistics and other tech-enabled services companies over the past two decades, including StarCompliance, Neovia and Ozburn-Hessey and many others. What is most critical in these examples is being able to understand the scarcity value of the subject company from a buyer’s perspective and tailoring a process that fits the needs of the seller, whether that be a negotiated transaction, targeted process or broad auction. Effective marketing requires (i) understanding the competitive dynamics in the sector, (ii) an ability to trouble-shoot key issues in advance and (iii) having direct access to key decision-makers at the prospective buyers.
